"Splash" Ends Run At Riviera

Longtime revue show "Splash" closed last night after being a Las Vegas fixture for over 20 years. The show had been running at the Riviera since 1985 and last year had brought back the shows original creator to revamp the show for its 20th anniversary, I guess the changes couldn't save the show.

Quick Tip: Gift Shop Alternatives

The gift shops in most hotels are conveniant but can be expensive. Another option is drug stores there is a CVS on south end of the strip and a Walgreens on the north end of the strip as well as a Walgreens downtown on one end of Fremont Street. These are good places to get film, water, soda, snacks without paying the higher prices in the hotels. They also have one hour photo developing and sell the usual Las Vegas stuff that the gift shops have for less money.
